This site will offer a wide variety of information ranging from the "Victorian Era" to the "Roaring 20's." There is so much that I love about these particular times.
Just being another decade on the timeline was not good enough for the 1920's. When its brief turn came, it had to be the biggest, the loudest, and the brightest.
A calamity gave it birth, and a calamity ended it. It was a decade of giants, like none before or since. The 20's was a time of conservatism and a time of great social change. From the world of fashion to the world of politics, forces clashed to produce the most explosive decade of the century. In music, the three sounds were jazz, jazz and jazz. It was the age of prohibition, the age of prosperity, and it was the age of downfall.
Another era that I have always been fasinated by and totally in love with is the Victorian era. This was an era with style, beauty and an elegance of it's own. This was an age when men were gentlemen, women were ladies, and strict morals and etiquette ruled the day.
This was a wonderfully romantic era.
I will serve as your guide and we will travel back to amazing times in history.
